During the 1990’s Melody specialised in historical drapery and soft furnishings, mainly for period homes. The main types of fabrics that Melody used were heavy velvets, pure silks and linens. Curtains were all beautifully handmade and interlined, embellished with lavish trimmings and braids. Today, Melody still designs and makes handmade curtains using traditional techniques. Contemporary advancements in fabrics, tracks and poles mean that she can give you up to the minute advise on items such as electric blinds and tracks, smart home wi-fi technology for google or Alexa to open and close your curtains.
