How the Home Service Works

You can reach me by phone, WhatsApp, email, or through the enquiry form (here). Tell me a little about which room(s) that needs curtains or Roman blind, how many windows, and any other information that may be of help at this stage we can arrange a convenient time for me to visit.

It helps if you can send a few photos via WhatsApp beforehand. Seeing your windows, your room colours, and the light helps me choose the right pattern books to bring with me.

I visit your home, usually for between 45 minutes and an hour and a half depending on the scope. We talk about how you use the room, where the light falls, what mood you're hoping to create. I bring fabric books and samples so you can see options in your own space, your own light.

This is a conversation, not a sales pitch. There's time to think, to ask questions, to change your mind.

I take detailed measurements and talk you through the options: headings, linings, poles or tracks, motorised systems where appropriate. By the end of the visit, you'll have a clear sense of what's possible.

You will receive a written quotation by email outlining the full price, the deposit required, and the balance payable on completion, all set out clearly so you can consider everything at your own pace and know exactly what is what.

Once you are ready to proceed, your curtains and blinds are made with care using established, traditional methods. Fabrics are carefully pattern matched and fully interlined where specified. Corners are mitred, seams are weighted, and hems, edges, and lining attachments are all hand sewn.

It is a process that takes time, but that time is reflected in how the finished work looks, hangs, and lasts.
